My first non-L-series lens

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens

I recently invested in this amazing Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens. This is the first time I’ve gone for another brand, rather than sticking with my name brand L-series Canon Lens.

I used to be a bit of a snob, and never wanted to even look at another lens if it was not an L-series. Thank you, Jon-Erik Munro and Amy Kathrine Cohoe, for informing me that Sigma also makes amazing lenses. After doing loads of research and reading so many reviews, I decided to give the Sigma a go and it is now my favourite lens. Works so well, and so sharp! Very happy with my purchase. Also saved myself about R5000!

Anyone looking to buy a new lens, take a look at the Sigma Art Lens. I always buy my equipment from Stephen, at Orms. Great service every time!
